Research Focus
The overarching goal of my research is to develop and deploy practicable statistical methods for the analysis of high dimensional data sets which are reliable and efficient in the presence of outliers or other forms of aberrant contamination. My research provides opportunities for collaborations to advance non-convex optimization and I am always happy to learn about the needs and challenges of applications in biomedical engineering, the life sciences, data science, or wherever there is a concern of unexpected heterogeneity and data contamination.
