Research Focus
Dr. Dabbagh‛s research is steeped in the learning sciences specifically as this relates to learning at the intersection of pedagogy and technology with the goal of understanding the social and cognitive affordances of learning systems design. Dr. Dabbagh is particularly interested in empowering learners to design their own digital learning spaces and turn them into Personal Learning Environments (PLEs) that are self-sustaining to enable self-regulated lifelong learning.
