Dr. Kenneth E. Nidiffer has over 59 years of government, industry, and academic experience in the field of software and systems engineering. Ken has successfully executed positions as Senior Vice-President at Fidelity Investments, Vice President of the Software and Systems Consortium, Director of Technical Operations/Engineering at Northrop Grumman Corporation, Principal Engineer at Carnegie Mellon’s Software Engineering Institute, and a Colonel in the United States Air Force. He is currently an adjunct professor at George Mason University and CEO for a system’s engineering company. Ken received his B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University, Indiana; M.S. degree in Astronautical Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology, Ohio; MBA degree from Auburn University, Alabama; and D.Sc. in Systems Engineering from George Washington University, Washington, DC. His research interests are in the area of project management, agile processes, knowledge management and learning processes and techniques.
