Dr. Heidi Blackburn is the Computing Librarian at George Mason University Libraries. She serves as the subject specialist for the computer science, information technology, game design, and statistics programs. Her research explores the status of women in STEM, particularly in higher education. She holds a Masters (2008) and a Ph.D. (2015) in Library and Information Science from Emporia State University. She is published in Science & Technology Libraries, Library Hi Tech, Journal of Library & Information Services in Distance Learning, and Issues in Science and Technology Librarianship, among others.
