Research Focus
I am working in the foundation of quantum mechanics with emphasis on quantum computers and quantum mechanics reconstruction. I got my PhD in theoretical physics in 1999 from University of Maryland at College Park working in nonlinear dynamics, inverse scattering, soliton theory and numerical simulations. After graduation I worked in the industry and four year ago I started the transition back to academia and became a physics adjunct at GMU. Currently I am working on the research track (there is a deep link between quantum mechanics and functional programming in the form of category theory) and my publications received 297 citations to date. I have an extensive IT industry career and I have my own software company Verin Technology.
