Research Focus

Kai Zeng is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Volgenau School of Engineering. He is also affiliated with the Department of Computer Science and Cyber Security Engineering. Prior to coming to Mason, he was a faculty member in the Department of Computer and Information Science at University of Michigan – Dearborn and a postdoctoral scholar in the Computer Science Department at University of California, Davis (UCD). His research interests include 5G wireless security, CPS/IoT security, spectrum sharing, machine learning, and physical layer security.
