Research Focus

Chen’s research interests include agency problems in online advertising, economics of information systems, and optimization models. His research has been published in Decision Support SystemsIEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering (TKDE), Information Systems Research (ISR), and MIS Quarterly. He has presented his research at various conferences, including International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), Workshop on Information Technology and Systems (WITS), INFORMS Conference on Information Systems and Technology (CIST), Workshop on the Economics of Information Security (WEIS). He is a member of the Association of Information Systems (AIS), the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS), and Production and Operations Management Society (POMS).
