Research Focus

Prof. Sidhartha (Sid) Das is a teaching and research faculty member in the Information Systems and Operations Management Area at the School of Business, George Mason University.

Prof. Das has taught in the MBA, Executive MBA, Northrop Grumman MBA, MS in Technology Management, and the undergraduate business programs. These include courses in operations management, managerial statistics, project management, business logistics, management of service operations, and manufacturing planning and control systems. He has received awards for Teaching Excellence at Mason and other universities.

His current research interests are primarily in Technology and Innovation Strategies, Planning and Control of Operations, Management of Service Operations, MIS – Design, Planning and Strategic Issues, and Entrepreneurship Processes in Technology Services Organizations.
